Debbie makes you feel comfortable right from the get go! We were grocery shopping one weekend, and went to her open house on a whim. Though dressed for grocery shopping, she warmly welcomed us to the open house, not sizing us up as someone who couldn't afford the home. She realized we were looking for a home in Sonoma County and offered her card. She was the first agent we met when we began house hunting. I thought you should know something about my experience with your firm, Century 21 Bundesen. It started when I chose Debbie Rossotti after researching real estate agents on the internet. I felt that she had the certification to help me navigate this market dominated with Short Sales and Foreclosures. While the tools available to her as a Century 21 Bundesen agent may have assisted her in providing professional service, frankly Century 21 had nothing to do with my decision in choosing her as our agent.
I needed to assist my mother-in-law, Shirley Kay, with the purchase of a home in Petaluma. While she lives in Houston and I live in the Phoenix area, I dreaded the thought of having to make numerous quick trips to Petaluma to look at houses. I have purchased a few homes in my life, but this is the first one that I purchased without ever seeing the property.
Debbie proved her professional value immediately as she "listened" to what I needed and did not waste time with properties that were not a good fit. She earned my trust as she was able to communicate to me what she saw, allowing me to see the property without using my eyes. She has that very special experience and talent of communicating the features and feeling of a home.
She found a perfect home for Shirley right away. We put a contract on this Short Sale property and patiently waited for the lender. After the lender failed to approve the short sale, Debbie went to work to find the next home.
The next property was a foreclosure, and again with Debbie's vision I knew that we had another great candidate. Debbie's experience helped me structure an offer that made me comfortable,
would be considered a strong offer, and was at a fair price. The bank accepted the offer immediately.
I had shopped for a lender, but after speaking with several candidates, I felt the most comfortable with the lender Debbie referred me to. I am so thankful that I made that choice. The new lending standards and a foul up at the IRS made getting our loan closed within the time limit impossible. Debbie worked with the lender and the listing agent to get the purchase closed once the IRS could provide the transcript needed. Keeping this house from ever getting back on the market was critical to our success in buying the house. Debbie’s skill and experience gave us the edge we needed.
I saw the house for the first time ten days after the closing. I was very pleased!
Debbie has also been very helpful and valuable to me after the closing. I wanted to freshen up the cosmetic appearance of the house, but doing it from 750 miles away and in an area unfamiliar to me is a difficult task. Debbie came through again when I called her for referrals for a painter, a plumber, a carpet/flooring company, and for granite countertops. The companies she referred me to have extended every courtesy, acknowledged their Century 21 Bundesen relationship, and performed their respective service professionally and at a competitive price. Debbie gives credit to Century 21 Bundesen for developing good relationships with companies their clients might need to help them settle into their new home.

RE: Our New House
Dear Debbie,
We just wanted to share with you how happy we are in our new (7 months new) house and thank you for helping find the “right house” for us. Yesterday, as we were driving to Casa Grande High School to drop J.R. off for an activity, I was explaining to J.R. the directions from Casa back to our house. We were driving past streets and I would say, “Remember the house we looked at on Weatherby and the house we looked at on Meadowview and the one on Wren and Starling… “I was using the houses/streets as landmarks so he could find his way home. Whew, there were so many!!!! As we drove through our neighborhood, J.R. said, "I am so glad we got the house we did, I have the coolest room ever!” Josie followed with, “I love my room too, I just love being in my room.” The three of us almost simultaneously, said, “I’m so glad we got the house we did. It is the best one that we looked at!” When we got home, I shared the story with Robert, and he a completely agreed with us. The process was a long and hard one but we got the best house for us!
Thank you for guiding us through the process and having patience with “our process”. Our search was educational and exciting while being exhausting and discouraging all at the same time. You worked diligently to provide us with superior service. You were extremely flexible, available, and accommodating to our needs, at what seemed like a moments notice. As first time homebuyers, you took great care to make sure we understood each step of the home buying process. Between the short sales, REOs, offers, counter-offers, realtors, and lenders you were a fantastic guide.
